Deathstroke #14

If only this cover were true! Except I imagine Slade is actually slowing his fall by shooting bullets into the ground, so he's not going to splat at all.

Rating: No change.

This comic book hasn't instantly gotten better by removing Tony S. Daniel's name from the credits. But then Bonny wasn't really helping the quality of the book previously, so I didn't expect much. Plus this is still the story of Deathstroke trying to convince himself that he actually loves his children. Bullshit! The Deathstroke that cares about anybody but himself is the broken character. People who think Deathstork is anything more than a homocidal maniac with a huge ego have it all backwards. This might be the actual Deathstroke though because sometimes he likes to fool himself into believing he's some kind of hero or has the capacity for love. But he doesn't. If this story takes much longer, he'll remember that he loves money more than his daughter or his son whose name he doesn't know and he'll just give up looking for Rose and go back to murdering people for cash.
