Sure he dies. But since there's an Issue #17, it's got to be a hoax of some kind!
I don't think allowing a character to drop dead of a heart attack at the end of an issue counts as a death of the character. Especially if they're going to be resuscitated in the next issue. I don't know if that will happen for sure but since the next twenty or more issues of Deathstroke the Terminator aren't called something else, I'm going to assume he survives.
I'm also not sure why the Deathstroke books were tied in to Total Chaos except as a means to sell more Deathstroke comic books. Not a single one of them needs to be read to make sense of the Total Chaos story. Oh sure! That lousy editor Jon Peterson who is intent on X-menifying the Teen Titans keeps dropping in little editorial notes about how readers shouldn't be missing a single chapter of Total Chaos. But let's face it. Readers at the time could probably have missed five or six chapters and still got the gist of the story. Maybe more!
Also, The Brotherhood of Evil doesn't really return. Mammoth makes an appearance at the end surrounded by a bunch of ladies in bikinis. I don't know exactly what that was but it wasn't a brotherhood and it wasn't evil.
